Seán Halpin
Managing director & CEO
Seán was appointed as SciDev’s CEO in 2022. An environmental professional with more than 15-years in the industry Seán was the co-founder and Commercial Director for Haldon Industries, which SciDev acquired in April 2021. During this period, Seán oversaw the strategic direction and significant growth of the water business to the market-leading position it holds today.
Having delivered some of the most complex water treatment projects across the Civil/Infrastructure, Mining, Remediation, Demolition, and Waste Management industries, Seán is focused on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for clients and shareholders. He has a passion for helping his teams to navigate the commercial and technical complexities of projects and mentoring SciDev’s next generation of leaders.
Todd Scott
Chief Financial Officer
Todd was appointed as SciDev’s CFO in October 2025. An experienced finance executive with more than 20 years across capital markets, financial services, heavy industry and renewable energy. He has held senior leadership roles in both listed and growth-stage companies, including over a decade at Sims Limited (ASX:SGM) as Chief Financial Officer ANZ, Global Head of Strategy and M&A, and Head of Investor Relations. Prior to this he was a senior equity analyst at ABN Amro and Royal Bank of Scotland covering the mining, steel, and building material sectors.
He brings deep expertise in capital markets, corporate finance and strategic execution, supporting the Company’s continued focus on delivering its growth strategy.
Sarah Stewart
Head of Marketing and Client Experience
Sarah is a client-focused business development, marketing and communications leader with 15+years experience in creating marketing, brand & BD strategies that support business growth objectives. She is driven by the pursuit of excellent client service, helping organisations create compelling experiences for their clients, rewarding stakeholder relationships and achieving market leadership.
Passionate about realising SciDev’s purpose of delivering innovative solutions for a sustainable future, Sarah is inspired by new possibilities and making every day better for future generations.
Prior to joining SciDev, Sarah was the Client Solutions Director for Haldon Industries and previously held Business Development and Marketing leadership roles at Parsons Brinckerhoff and WSP.
Jamiel Muhor
Head of Process Chemistry
Jamiel is a sales and marketing professional who brings a high level of technical expertise focused on driving innovative solutions to benefit our clients across both industries.
Jamiel is an established leader with expertise in developing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and has a passion for helping his teams to navigate the commercial and technical complexities of the business development pipeline to enable the best possible outcome for all parties.
Chris Dartez
Head of Energy Services
Chris is the President and Business Unit Head for the Energy Services team. An operations and business development leadership professional, Chris has more than 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas chemical industry with a technical knowledge of completions, cementing and coiled tubing fluids.
Chris has played a major role in the development of industry’s evolving economical & operational efficiency methods such as bulk last mile deliveries and concentrated chemistry delivery to the well site. A strategic and driven approach that has been successfully proven and adapted in the market over the past 15 years.
Ronan Duffy
Business Unit Head, Water Technologies - APAC
Ronan is responsible for driving the performance and success of SciDev’s Water Technologies business in APAC. He brings over 25 years of experience in the construction and water treatment industries across Australia, Europe and the UK.
Ronan has a proven track record in strategic leadership and commercial management, helping expand market share, increase revenue, and strengthen stakeholder relationships in both public and private sectors.
Prior to joining SciDev, Ronan served as Chief Operations Officer at Whitewater Group, leading strategic planning, business growth, project delivery, operational leadership, and quality and compliance.
John Wilson
Vice President, Water Technologies - Europe
John has nearly two decades of experience in the European water industry. He is a global expert in water and wastewater treatment with extensive experience in designing and implementing off-site build modular solutions. He joined SciDev to drive the growth of the water technologies business in Europe.
He thrives in collaborating with clients to solve their critical water issues and challenges. John is an experienced management professional with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving results.
Quinn Smith
Vice President, Water Technologies - North America
Quinn is an industry leader with a growth mindset. He has deep expertise in water technologies, analytical testing, and environmental and occupational health and safety management systems. He joined SciDev to bring unique and differentiated water technology processes to the Americas, delivering high-value solutions and driving the growth of the water technologies business.
Renowned for being a creative and inspiring team builder and business leader, Quinn excels in establishing trusted partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders, building high-performance teams, and implementing strategic marketing initiatives.
Anna Hooper
Chief Financial Officer
Anna is a critical leadership team member who continues to support the evolving financial requirements of the business, backed by her extensive skill set and management experience within the financial industry along with a knowledgeable background in ASX listed companies. Anna is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has a bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. With extensive finance experience across a range of industries she will be extremely valuable to SciDev as we continue to grow.
