SciDev has received grant funding from the Australian Government under the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (SCRI) Round 2. This supports businesses in establishing or scaling a manufacturing capability to address an identified supply chain vulnerability.
The grant will allow SciDev to upgrade and expand our novel PolyDADMAC (PolyDiallylMethylammoniumchloride) manufacturing capacity at our Seven Hills facility. This investment will support the manufacture of water-soluble copolymers, which can be used to treat water in commercial, industrial and mining industries, allowing clients to recycle and reuse water while reducing their impact on the environment.
The improved facility will increase SciDev’s PolyDADMAC manufacturing capacity by approximately 80%, de-risking the supply of water treatment chemicals in Australia.
