SciDev Ltd (ASX: SDV) (‘SciDev‘ or ‘the Company‘) is pleased to announce that it has secured an additional contract with ACCIONA Construction Australia Pty Ltd (ACCIONA) for the design and construction of a temporary water treatment plant (WTP) for the NSW Government’s Western Harbour Tunnel Stage 2.

The WTP will treat groundwater and tunnel construction water for either discharge or recycling and reuse onsite during construction. The scope of works under the contract will see the utilisation of SciDev’s fully automated water treatment plants, with the WTP designed and mobilised to the site in September 2024. In response to the project’s requirements, the WTP has been specifically designed to minimise the required footprint and to allow for an accelerated construction programme.

SciDev’s Water Technologies business specialises in delivering innovative water treatment solutions across a wide range of applications. SciDev CEO Seán Halpin said, ” We look forward to working with the ACCIONA team once again to support the construction of the iconic third road crossing for Sydney Harbour.
