We are pleased to welcome Dr. Chao Yang in the position of Senior Fluid Chemist, Energy Services.

An industry-leading Scientist with over 20 years of experience, Chao started his career in medicinal chemistry before moving into oilfield chemical development. As a co-inventor of several patents in the Medicine and Oil & Gas industries and a well-published author, Chao’s experience spans completion, stimulation, flow assurance and production of chemicals. With his diverse background and passion for innovation and the implementation of new technologies, Chao brings added expertise to SciDev as we continue to grow.

Chao is a member of American Chemical Society and Society of Petroleum Engineers and has a Bachelor of Science (Polymer Chemistry), Masters (Material Engineering) and a Ph.D (Organic Chemistry).
