SciDev kicks off latest PFAS remediation project at future renewable energy site

Jul 14, 2025

We have just kicked off our next PFAS remediation project at the former Munmorah Coal-Fired Power Station – the future site of the NSW Government Waratah Super Battery project. Generator Property Management has appointed SciDev to design, construct, and operate a PFAS treatment plant to manage legacy groundwater contamination at the site. Powered by our FluorofIX™ technology, the plant will treat PFAS-impacted groundwater to meet some of the strictest discharge criteria in Australia—supporting long-term remediation and reducing environmental risk.

SciDev are excited to play a part in Australia’s renewable future—delivering smart, sustainable water treatment solutions where they matter most.
