To mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGIS) on Saturday 11th February, we want to champion a different kind of female scientist; the inspirational Two-Way Science educators at Kenmore Park Anangu School. With support from SciDev, teachers are working alongside Anangu educators and the community, to teach science on Country and transform student outcomes.

Two-Way Science is an integrated learning program for Aboriginal desert schools. The program links the cultural knowledge of the local Indigenous community with Western science and the Australian curriculum to build cultural identity, teach science, reinforce literacy and numeracy and introduce technology. Together, Australian Schools Plus and SciDev are now supporting Two-way Science in 10 schools in SA.
