We proudly announce several new additions to our Western Australian team, comprising subject matter experts with diverse disciplines and backgrounds. The new recruits will support us in meeting the ongoing demand across the sector for several projects already engaged with.
Luke Mellor has joined SciDev as a Project Manager. He joins SciDev from MakWater and brings over a decade of experience working in water treatment. Luke commented, “I’m very proud to be part of a progressive and innovative company, SciDev have proven they have what it takes to provide something a little extra than the competition, and I am excited about delivering innovative water treatment solutions for our clients in WA “.
Jordan MacDonald, a Site Engineer with a background in Chemical/Process Engineering, is passionate about ensuring that water discharge from industrial and commercial sites has little to no environmental impact. ‘Moving to Western Australia has allowed me to get stuck into projects at the forefront of super ultra-trace PFAS removal. By treating PFAS-impacted water to the 99th percentile, SciDev is setting the industry standard for these processes, and I am very excited to be involved in their rollout’, said Jordan.
Mathias Ojiah, Field Service Engineer, is a water treatment specialist with a wealth of experience working most recently as a site engineer and water treatment specialist for a Resource Recovery company in Darwin.
Daan Loouys has re-joined SciDev as Technical Manager. Daan is an experienced minerals processing specialist in chemical application and optimisation, with his strengths involving troubleshooting complex metallurgical circuits and delivering innovation and value to our customers. Daan said, “Having prior knowledge of SciDev allowed me to hit the ground running and assist our clients in Western Australia. It has been great to work with this team again”.
Expressing his excitement at the expansion of the team, Michael Minter, WA State Manager – Water Technologies, “It is great to see such a large number of new team members joining and re-joining our team. The new additions bring skills and expertise in key focus areas, including solid-liquid separation chemistry, process productivity and PFAS treatment technology. Their combined expertise and broad project experience will enable us to support our clients in reducing their environmental footprint”.
