We are delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Becker as Technical Director for our Water Technologies. With nearly three decades of experience in the environmental sector, Steve has provided his expertise to various sectors such as defense, mining, oil & gas, transportation and agriculture.

As Technical Director, Steve will provide technical expertise in PFAS and other emerging contaminants to clients, project teams and SciDev’s R&D program. He brings a wide range of environmental and regulatory experience, with a recent focus on PFAS and other emerging contaminants. He is also an Affiliate Research Professor of Emerging Contaminants with the UAF Institute of Northern Engineering and a member of the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council’s (ITRC) PFAS Work Group.

Steve commented on his appointment, saying, “Increased global PFAS regulation is driving the requirement for more effective treatment solutions. SciDev is leading the way with its PFAS treatment technologies, FluorofIX and RegenIX, and I am excited to work with the team and its diverse set of clients, both nationally and internationally, to identify and further develop customized solutions for their sites and operations”.
